أعلنت سفن إكس (7X)، المجموعة الرائدة في قطاعات التجارة والنقل والخدمات اللوجستية، بالتعاون مع شركة الإمارات لمحطات شحن المركبات الكهربائية (UAEV)، أول شبكة وطنية لشحن المركبات الكهربائية مملوكة بالكامل لحكومة دولة الإمارات، اعتماد أول 6 مواقع لمحطات شحن المركبات الكهربائية ضمن مرافق الشبكة الوطنية للخدمات اللوجستية (NXN)، في خطوة تمثل أولى مراحل تنفيذ الاتفاقية الاستراتيجية المبرمة بين الطرفين لتطوير ونشر البنية التحتية لشحن المركبات الكهربائية في مواقع لوجستية استراتيجية على مستوى الدولة.

وستسهم هذه المحطات في دعم عمليات أساطيل النقل والخدمات اللوجستية، وتعزيز جاهزية البنية التحتية للتنقل الكهربائي، ورفع كفاءة عمليات الميل الأخير، وخفض الانبعاثات الكربونية، وترسيخ الممارسات المستدامة في القطاع اللوجستي، بما ينسجم مع مستهدفات دولة الإمارات في التحول نحو اقتصاد منخفض الانبعاثات.

وتشمل المرحلة الأولى اعتماد ستة مواقع في إمارة دبي، وهي: الورقاء، والراشدية، والكرامة، والقوز الرابعة، وأم سقيم، والبرشاء، بما يعزز انتشار البنية التحتية لشحن المركبات الكهربائية في عدد من المحاور الحيوية في الإمارة، ويدعم الحركة اللوجستية والتنقل اليومي، إلى جانب توفير خدمات الشحن للمتعاملين.

وقال طارق الواحدي، الرئيس التنفيذي لسفن إكس (7X): "يمثل اعتماد أول مواقع لمحطات الشحن خطوة عملية في ترجمة شراكتنا مع UAEV إلى مشاريع تنعكس مباشرة على كفاءة الخدمات اللوجستية واستدامتها. ومع التطور المتسارع في منظومة النقل والخدمات اللوجستية، أصبحت البنية التحتية لشحن المركبات الكهربائية عنصرًا أساسيًا في بناء سلاسل إمداد أكثر مرونة وكفاءة، ويأتي تطوير شبكة الشحن في مواقع استراتيجية ليواكب هذا التحول، ويدعم التوسع في استخدام المركبات الكهربائية، ويعزز جاهزية القطاع اللوجستي لمتطلبات المستقبل، بما ينسجم مع توجهات دولة الإمارات نحو اقتصاد أكثر استدامة."

7X, the leading trade, transport, and logistics group, in collaboration with Emarat EV Charging Stations Company PJSC (UAEV), the first national electric vehicle (EV) charging network fully owned by the Government of the UAE, approved the first six EV charging station sites across facilities operated by 7X’s National Network for Logistics (NXN). This decision marks the first phase of implementing the strategic partnership signed between both organisations to develop and deploy EV charging infrastructure across major logistics locations nationwide. 

The new charging stations will support transport and logistics fleet operations, strengthen the country’s EV charging infrastructure, boost efficiency of last-mile operations, reduce carbon emissions, and foster sustainable practices across the sector. This move aligns with the UAE’s ambitious goal to become a low-emission economy.

The first phase of implementation covers six sites across Dubai, including Al Warqaa, Al Rashidiya, Al Karama, Al Quoz 4, Umm Suqeim, and Al Barsha. It will ensure the availability of EV charging infrastructure in key locations across the emirate and support regular seamless logistics operations and mobility while offering convenient charging services for customers.  

Tariq Al Wahedi, Group CEO of 7X, said: “The approval of the first six charging station sites reflects a significant step in translating our collaboration with UAEV into tangible projects that enhance efficiency and sustainability of logistics services. As the transport and logistics ecosystem continues to develop rapidly, EV charging infrastructure has become a critical element in building resilient, efficient and future-ready supply chains. The initial implementation at NXN facilities will encourage wider adoption of EVs and strengthen the logistics sector to meet future demands while aligning with the UAE’s vision to achieve a sustainable economy.”

The approval of these sites lays the foundation for the phased expansion of EV charging stations across 7X facilities as part of the company’s and UAEV’s joint plan. The move will accelerate the integration of energy infrastructure with the logistics services ecosystem, support the transition to sustainable transport solutions, and offer reliable EV charging services at key locations that serve both logistics operations and daily mobility.

أعلنت سفن إكس (7X)، بالتعاون مع أكاديمية 42 أبوظبي، عن الفرق الفائزة في هاكاثون ‘Next Mile’، تحت شعار: "بناء مستقبل الذكاء الاصطناعي الوكيل في التجارة والنقل والخدمات اللوجستية"، والذي استمر على مدار 24 ساعة، وتنافس خلاله 15 فريقًا من طلاب الأكاديمية على تطوير نماذج أولية مبتكرة تعتمد على تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي الوكيل (Agentic AI)، بهدف تبسيط العمليات ورفع كفاءتها في قطاعات التجارة والنقل والخدمات اللوجستية.

شكّل الهاكاثون أولى محطات مبادرة ‘Build with 7X’ للابتكار المفتوح، والتي أطلقتها المجموعة لإرساء نموذج جديد لتطوير الحلول والمنتجات التقنية، يقوم على مواءمة الاحتياجات التشغيلية الفعلية مع الكفاءات الأكاديمية والمواهب التقنية والشركات الناشئة، بما يسرّع اختبار الأفكار الواعدة وتطويرها وتحويلها إلى تطبيقات عملية قابلة للتوسع. كما عكس تنظيم الهاكاثون بالشراكة مع أكاديمية 42 أبوظبي تكامل الجهود الوطنية لإعداد الكفاءات الرقمية، وربطها باحتياجات القطاعات الاقتصادية الحيوية، دعمًا لتوجهات دولة الإمارات في ترسيخ الابتكار والذكاء الاصطناعي بوصفهما ركيزتين للتنمية الاقتصادية وتعزيز التنافسية

وخلال الهاكاثون، عملت الفرق المشاركة على تطوير نماذج أولية لثلاثة محاور تشغيلية ذات أولوية، شملت التوجيه الديناميكي لعمليات الميل الأخير، والتخطيط الذكي للطاقة الاستيعابية والتحسين التنبؤي للشبكات اللوجستية، مع توظيف إمكانات الذكاء الاصطناعي الوكيل في تحليل البيانات، واتخاذ القرار، وتنفيذ المهام بصورة مستقلة.

وقال طارق أحمد الواحدي، الرئيس التنفيذي لسفن إكس (7X): "لم يعد مستقبل التجارة والنقل والخدمات اللوجستية يقاس بسرعة حركة البضائع فحسب، بل بسرعة تحويل البيانات إلى قرارات، والأفكار إلى تطبيقات، والابتكار إلى أثر اقتصادي ملموس. وانطلاقًا من هذا المفهوم، نعمل في سفن إكس (7X) على بناء بيئة تُمكّن المبتكرين والشركاء من تطوير حلول تستجيب لاحتياجات القطاع، وتسهم في تعزيز جاهزيته للمستقبل. ويمثل هذا النموذج من التعاون ركيزة أساسية لدعم مستهدفات دولة الإمارات في ترسيخ الابتكار، وتعزيز تنافسية الاقتصاد الوطني، وترسيخ مكانة الدولة مركزًا عالميًا للتكنولوجيا المتقدمة."

وأضاف: "ونؤمن بأن تمكين الشباب من خوض تحديات واقعية، والعمل جنبًا إلى جنب مع المؤسسات والجامعات والشركاء، هو الطريق الأمثل لإعداد جيل يقود مستقبل الابتكار، ويحوّل الأفكار الواعدة إلى تطبيقات ذات أثر ملموس. ولذلك، نحرص على توفير منصات تتيح للمواهب الشابة اختبار أفكارها في بيئات تشغيلية حقيقية، بما يختصر المسافة بين الإبداع والتطبيق، ويعزز جاهزيتها للإسهام في تطوير القطاعات الحيوية، ودعم مسيرة الاقتصاد الوطني، وترسيخ ثقافة الابتكار بوصفها نهجًا مستدامًا للمستقبل."

من جانبها، قالت فاطمة الفولاذي، الرئيس التنفيذي بالإنابة لأكاديمية 42 أبوظبي: "نؤمن في أكاديمية 42 أبوظبي بأن أفضل السبل لإعداد الجيل القادم من رواد الذكاء الاصطناعي تتمثل في تمكينهم من خوض تحديات واقعية تنطلق من احتياجات القطاعات المختلفة، بما يتيح لهم تطوير حلول ذات أثر ملموس من خلال التعلم بالممارسة. وتجسد شراكتنا مع سفن إكس (7X) هذا النهج، إذ تتيح للطلبة توظيف معارفهم التقنية، وإبداعهم، وقدراتهم على حل المشكلات في معالجة تحديات حقيقية تسهم في تطوير القطاع. ويعكس هاكاثون Next Mile التزامنا بإعداد كفاءات وطنية وعالمية جاهزة للمستقبل، قادرة على قيادة مسيرة التحول الرقمي في دولة الإمارات، والمساهمة في تطوير القطاعات الاستراتيجية بالاعتماد على الابتكار والذكاء الاصطناعي."

وقيّمت لجنة التحكيم المشاريع المشاركة وفق معايير شملت جدوى الفكرة، وقابليتها للتطبيق، والأثر المتوقع في تعزيز كفاءة العمليات، إلى جانب جودة التنفيذ. وفي ختام الهاكاثون، جرى تكريم الفرق الفائزة، حيث حصد فريق "Nova Dreamers" المركز الأول عن مشروعه ضمن مسار التحسين التنبؤي للشبكات اللوجستية، فيما جاء فريق "CatDoesDelivery" في المركز الثاني عن مشروعه ضمن مسار التخطيط الذكي للطاقة الاستيعابية، وحل فريق "HUBris" في المركز الثالث عن مشروعه ضمن مسار التحسين التنبؤي للشبكات اللوجستية. وحصلت الفرق الفائزة على جوائز نقدية بقيمة 15 ألف درهم للمركز الأول، و10 آلاف درهم للمركز الثاني، و5 آلاف درهم للمركز الثالث.

وستعمل سفن إكس (7X)، في إطار مبادرة Build with 7X، على تقييم فرص تطوير الأفكار والمشاريع الواعدة التي قدمها المشاركون، واستكشاف إمكانات تحويلها إلى تطبيقات عملية داخل شركات المجموعة، بما يسهم في تسريع تبني حلول الذكاء الاصطناعي، ودعم تطوير قطاعات التجارة والنقل والخدمات اللوجستية.

7X, in collaboration with 42 Abu Dhabi Academy, announced the winners of the ‘Next Mile Hackathon’, held under the theme, ‘Shaping the Next Era of Agentic AI in Trade, Transport and Logistics.’ The 24-hour Hackathon convened 15 teams of students from 42 Abu Dhabi to develop innovative prototypes powered by agentic AI technologies that streamline operations and boost efficiency across the trade, transport and logistics sectors.

The Hackathon marked the first milestone of the ‘Build with 7X's’ open innovation initiative, launched by the Group to establish a new model for developing technology solutions and products. The initiative aims to address real-world operational needs with academic capabilities, technology talents and startups, creating a supportive ecosystem for testing, development and transformation of innovative ideas into practical, scalable applications. The partnership with 42 Abu Dhabi further underscores the integration of national efforts to equip digital talents while aligning them with the needs of vital economic sectors. This comes as part of the UAE’s directives to embed innovation and AI as the core of economic development and competitiveness.

Participating teams developed prototypes across three priority operational tracks; Dynamic Last-Mile Routing, Intelligent Capacity Planning, and Predictive Network Optimisation. These challenge areas focused on leveraging the vast possibilities of agentic AI in data analysis, decision-making and independent task execution.

Projects were evaluated by a judging panel against a set of criteria, including the feasibility of the idea, its applicability, the expected impact on operational efficiency, and the quality of execution. The Hackathon concluded with the recognition of the winning teams, with ‘Nova Dreamers’ securing first place for its project in the Predictive Logistics Network Optimisation track, followed by ‘CatDoesDelivery’, which placed second for its project in the Intelligent Capacity Planning track, while ‘HUBris’ claimed third place for its project in the Predictive Logistics Network Optimisation track. The winning teams received cash prizes of AED 15,000, AED 10,000, and AED 5,000 for first, second, and third place, respectively.

Through the ‘Build with 7X’ initiative, 7X will assess opportunities to develop innovative ideas and projects from competitions such as the ‘Next Mile Hackathon’ while exploring the possibilities of its practical application within the Group’s companies. This contributes to accelerating the adoption of AI solutions and supporting the advancement of the trade, transport and logistics sectors.

أعلنت سفن إكس (7X)، المجموعة الرائدة في قطاعات التجارة والنقل والخدمات اللوجستية، عن توسيع نطاق الدعم الذي يتيحه “عضيد” – مرصد الإمارات لدعم سلاسل الإمداد، ليشمل منظومة أوسع من الشركاء ومقدمي الخدمات على مستوى دولة الإمارات، وذلك بعد الإطلاق الناجح للمنصة في إمارة أبوظبي. وتعكس هذه الخطوة توجهًا وطنيًا شاملًا نحو تعزيز استمرارية سلاسل الإمداد، وتيسير الحركة التجارية، ورفع جاهزية المنظومة الاقتصادية لمواكبة المتغيرات التشغيلية والاقتصادية المتسارعة

وتوسّعت منظومة شركاء المنصة لتضم أكثر من 30 جهة جديدة من شركات التوصيل السريع وشركات النقل ومزودي الخدمات اللوجستية والجهات ذات العلاقة بمنظومة التجارة وسلاسل الإمداد. ويهدف هذا التوسع إلى توفير استجابة أكثر شمولًا وتكاملًا للاحتياجات التي تتطلب تنسيقًا بين أكثر من جهة أو مسار أو مشغل، بما يعزز قدرة "عضيد" على ربط الطلبات بالجهات الأنسب لمعالجتها، ويدعم دوره كمنصة وطنية جامعة لتمكين الجاهزية والاستجابة المنسقة. كما أصبح "عضيد" يتيح إمكانية الحصول على الدعم المتعلق بالخدمات المالية والتمويل وإدارة المخاطر المالية لقطاع التجارة، من خلال التعاون مع البنوك والمؤسسات المالية وشركاء منظومة الأعمال، بما يساعد الشركات على الوصول إلى حلول أكثر تكاملًا تدعم استمرارية عملياتها وتعزز قدرتها على التعامل مع المتغيرات التشغيلية والمالية.

ويأتي هذا التوسع امتدادًا للنجاح الذي حققه "عضيد" في مرحلة الإطلاق الأولى، حيث ساهمت المنصة خلال شهر واحد من إطلاقها في إغلاق كافة الطلبات المستلمة أو إحالتها إلى المسارات المناسبة بنسبة 100%، سواء في مجالات الخدمات اللوجستية وسلاسل الإمداد، أو تمويل التجارة وسلاسل الإمداد، أو توفير الموردين والمصادر التشغيلية ذات الصلة. كما تم إطلاق «رادار عضيد»، الذي يشكّل طبقة ذكاء تشغيلي تدعم المنصة في رصد مؤشرات الحركة التجارية وسلاسل الإمداد بصورة لحظية، من خلال متابعة حركة السفن، ونشاط الموانئ في المحطات الرئيسية بالدولة، والتنبيهات المرتبطة بأي اضطرابات محتملة. ويتيح الرادار، عبر قدرات تحليلية مدعومة بالذكاء الاصطناعي، تقييم بدائل المسارات ونمذجة السيناريوهات التشغيلية، بما يعزز جاهزية المنظومة، ويدعم اتخاذ القرار الاستباقي، ويرفع كفاءة الاستجابة في التعامل مع المتغيرات المؤثرة في انسيابية سلاسل الإمداد

وقال طارق أحمد الواحدي، الرئيس التنفيذي لسفن إكس (7X): "يمثل نجاح "عضيد" خطوة متقدمة في مسار بناء منظومة وطنية أكثر تكاملًا لدعم سلاسل الإمداد في دولة الإمارات، من خلال توفير قناة موحدة تجمع بين وضوح الطلب، وسرعة التنسيق، وكفاءة الاستجابة. ويعكس هذا التوسع قناعة راسخة بأن دعم استمرارية سلاسل الإمداد لم يعد يقتصر على تقديم الخدمات اللوجستية بصورتها التقليدية، بل بات يتطلب مستوى أعلى من التكامل بين الجهات، وربطًا أكثر فاعلية بين الاحتياج والقدرة على التنفيذ.”

وأضاف الواحدي: “ومن خلال هذا التوسع، نهدف إلى تمكين الجهات الحكومية وقطاع الأعمال من الوصول إلى الدعم المناسب عبر مسار منظم وواضح، وتعزيز جاهزية الدولة في التعامل مع التحديات التشغيلية، بما يدعم استمرارية الأعمال، ويسهم في حماية انسيابية الحركة التجارية، وترسيخ بيئة أكثر قدرة على دعم التجارة والإنتاج والنمو.”

وتعتمد منصة “عضيد” في تشغيلها على توظيف تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي لتحليل الاحتياجات وتقديم رؤى عملية قابلة للتنفيذ، إلى جانب الاستفادة من منظومة متكاملة من القدرات والخدمات اللوجستية التي تغطي النقل الجوي والبحري والبري محليًا ودوليًا، فضلًا عن خدمات التخزين وتنفيذ الطلبات والدعم التشغيلي المرتبط بسلاسل الإمداد. كما تتيح المنصة تنظيم الطلبات وتقييمها وتوجيهها إلى المسار الأنسب، بما يعزز سرعة الاستجابة ووضوح المتابعة وكفاءة التنسيق بين مختلف الأطراف.

7X, the leading group in trade, transport, and logistics, has expanded its support scope enabled by ADEED, the UAE Supply Chain Support Platform, to include a broader ecosystem of partners and service providers across the UAE, following the platform’s successful launch in Abu Dhabi. This step marks a unified effort towards strengthening supply chain continuity, facilitating trade flows, and enhancing the readiness of the economic system to keep pace with rapidly evolving operational and economic variables.

The platform’s partner ecosystem has been expanded to include over 30 new entities, including express delivery companies, transport firms, logistics providers, and other relevant entities linked to the trade and supply chain ecosystem. This expansion aims to provide comprehensive and integrated responses to requirements necessitating coordination across multiple entities, routes, and operators. It further enhances ADEED's capability to connect requests with the most relevant entities for processing and reinforces its role as a unified national platform for enabling readiness and coordinated response. ADEED now also enables access to support related to trade finance, funding, and financial risk mitigation through collaboration with banks, financial institutions, and business ecosystem partners. This helps companies access more integrated solutions that support business continuity and strengthen their ability to respond to operational and financial changes.

This expansion builds on the success achieved by ADEED during its first launch phase. Within one month of its launch, the platform closed all received requests or directed them to the appropriate tracks, achieving a 100 per cent closing rate across logistics and supply chain services, trade and supply chain financing, and the provision of suppliers and related operational resources. ADEED Radar was also launched as an operational smart layer that supports the platform through real-time monitoring of trade flow and supply chain indicators. The system tracks vessel movements, port activity at the country's key terminals, and alerts related to potential disruptions. Powered by AI-driven analytics, the Radar assesses alternative routes and models operational scenarios, strengthening ecosystem preparedness, supporting proactive decision-making, and enhancing response efficiency across variables that impact supply chain continuity.

الرسمي لخدمات البريد في الدولة، المركز الأول في جائزة خدمة العملاء في البريد العاجل الدولي على مستوى العالم، كما نالت الجائزة الذهبية في الأداء لخدمات البريد العاجل الدولي لعام 2024، والتي يمنحها الاتحاد البريدي العالمي عبر تعاونية البريد العاجل الدولي. وجرى تسليم الجوائز خلال الاجتماع الرسمي السابق لانطلاق أعمال مؤتمر الاتحاد البريدي العالمي الثامن والعشرين، الذي تستضيفه دولة الإمارات من 8 حتى 19 سبتمبر الجاري، ويعد الفعالية الأبرز على الأجندة الدولية للقطاع البريدي.
ويجسد هذا التتويج العالمي ثمار الرؤية الاستباقية لدولة الإمارات في بناء منظومة خدمات ذكية ترتقي إلى أعلى معايير الجودة والكفاءة والموثوقية، بما يعزز ريادتها في القطاع اللوجستي العالمي. وحصدت دولة الإمارات الجائزة الذهبية بعد تقييم شامل للأداء التشغيلي عبر الشبكات الدولية، ومستوى رضا المتعاملين، وفعالية الاستجابة، ودقة الالتزام بمواعيد التسليم، وفق مؤشرات مرتفعة تراوح الأداء فيها بين 95% و98%، حيث شمل التقييم مراحل الخدمة كافة، من استلام الشحنات وحتى التسليم النهائي، إضافةً إلى خدمات ما بعد البيع. كما يأتي الفوز بالمركز الأول في جائزة خدمة العملاء تأكيداً على جهود الاستثمار المستمرة في منظومة التجربة الرقمية للمتعاملين، واستحداث قنوات أكثر ذكاءً واستجابة، تضمن تقديم تجربة استثنائية تعكس طموحات الدولة نحو التميز المؤسسي.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE), represented by its official postal service provider Emirates Post, has secured the top position globally in the Customer Service category for outstanding express mail services. It has also been honoured with the Gold Performance Award for 2024, a prestigious recognition presented by the Universal Postal Union (UPU) through its Express Mail Service Cooperative (EMS). The awards were presented at the official meeting preceding the launch of the 28th Universal Postal Congress – Dubai 2025, a prominent event for the international postal sector, hosted by the UAE from September 8 to 19. 
The awards reflect the UAE’s forward-thinking vision in building a smart services infrastructure that meets the highest standards of efficiency, quality, and reliability, strengthening the country’s position as a global leader in the logistics sector. The UAE secured the Gold Performance Award after an extensive evaluation that assessed operational efficiency across various domains, including international networks, customer satisfaction, responsiveness, and compliance with delivery schedules. The assessment showed high performance indicators, ranging from 95 per cent to 98 per cent across all phases of service, from shipment receipt to final delivery, including post-delivery support.
Winning the first place in the Customer Service category highlights the impact of ongoing investments in digital customer experience initiatives and the development of intelligent and responsive service channels, underscoring the country’s commitment to achieving organisational excellence.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE), represented by its official postal service provider Emirates Post, has secured the top position globally in the Customer Service category for outstanding express mail services. It has also been honoured with the Gold Performance Award for 2024, a prestigious recognition presented by the Universal Postal Union (UPU) through its Express Mail Service Cooperative (EMS). The awards were presented at the official meeting preceding the launch of the 28th Universal Postal Congress – Dubai 2025, a prominent event for the international postal sector, hosted by the UAE from September 8 to 19.

وتهدف هذه الرحلة التجريبية، التي تندرج ضمن استراتيجية مجلس الأنظمة الذكية ذاتية الحركة، وتحظى بدعم من مكتب أبوظبي للاستثمار، إلى تطوير واعتماد حلول التنقل الذكي والمتكامل في إمارة أبوظبي. وقد تمت التجربة بإشراف الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني ومركز النقل المتكامل، وأُقيمت تحت مظلة مجمع صناعة المركبات الذكية وذاتية القيادة (SAVI)، في إطار الجهود الهادفة إلى دعم الرؤية الإستراتيجية لإمارة أبوظبي، والتي تهدف إلى توطين إنتاج الأنظمة الذكية وذاتية الحركة، ومواصلة تطوير البنية التحتية الذكية في هذا المجال، وتوسيع نطاق استخدام حلول التنقل الجوي الذكي، وتطوير اللوائح التنظيمية المستقبلية للقطاع، بما ينسجم مع الجهود الرامية إلى ترسيخ مكانة أبوظبي كمركز عالمي رائد للابتكار وصناعات التقنيات المستقبلية.

وبهذه المناسبة، قال عمران مالك، مدير مجمع صناعة المركبات الذكية وذاتية القيادة (SAVI) في مكتب أبوظبي للاستثمار: "تعكس هذه الرحلة التجريبية مستوى التقدُّم الذي تحققه إمارة أبوظبي في تبنّي الحلول الذكية والمستدامة، وتؤكِّد على نجاح الشراكات الاستراتيجية في دفع عجلة الابتكار، ودعم تطوير منظومة اقتصادية متقدمة وبنية تحتية ذكية ومستدامة. ونفخر في مكتب أبوظبي للاستثمار بدعم المبادرات التي توظف أحدث التقنيات في قطاع الخدمات اللوجستية، بما يعزز مكانة العاصمة أبوظبي كمركز عالمي للابتكار وريادة الأعمال في صناعات المستقبل".

وتم إجراء الرحلة التجريبية في مدينة خليفة، حيث قامت طائرة الدرون، المزوّدة برافعة آلية، بنقل طرد من مكتب بريد محلي إلى نقطة تسليم محددة باستخدام نظام ملاحة متقدِّم.

ومن جانبه، قال حميد صابر الهاملي، مدير إدارة النقل الجوي في مركز النقل المتكامل: "يُعدّ ضمان سلامة وأمن المجال الجوي من أولويات مركز النقل المتكامل، ونعمل باستمرار على تطوير الأطر التنظيمية اللازمة لدعم إدماج طائرات الدرون في منظومة النقل بشكل آمن وفعّال. وتُجسِّد هذه التجربة ثمرة التعاون الوثيق بين القطاعين العام والخاص، وخطوة عملية نحو مستقبل التنقل الجوي الذكي في إمارة أبوظبي. كما نحرص على توفير بيئة تنظيمية مرنة وآمنة تواكب الابتكار، وتُسهم في تمكين الحلول التكنولوجية الجديدة، بما يعزز من تنافسية الإمارة ويُرسّخ مكانتها كمركز عالمي للتنقل المستدام والتقنيات المستقبلية".

وفي تجسيد للشراكة بين القطاع الخاص والجهات التنظيمية لتطوير الأنظمة، وضمان الامتثال للمعايير والإجراءات المتبعة، ودعم التوسُّع المستقبلي في مجال النقل الجوي الذكي ذاتي القيادة، تواصل كلٌّ من "لود" و"سفن إكس" التعاون مع الجهات التنظيمية والشركاء المعنيين في القطاع لتطوير الإجراءات، وضمان الامتثال للوائح التنظيمية، وجمع البيانات التشغيلية اللازمة، لدعم التوسع المستقبلي في تطبيق هذه التقنية على مستوى الدولة.

وتأتي هذه التجربة كمرحلة تمهيدية ضمن خطة استراتيجية شاملة تهدف إلى توسيع نطاق الخدمات اللوجستية المعتمِدة على طائرات الدرون في مختلف مناطق أبوظبي، بهدف تعزيز مكانة الإمارة كمركز عالمي رائد في مجال النقل الجوي الذكي على مستوى المنطقة.

With the support of Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), the aviation technology firm LODD, and 7X, the investment holding group in trade, transport and logistics, overseeing the logistics and express delivery provider EMX, have launched the first pilot flight for autonomous drone parcel deliveries in Abu Dhabi, marking a qualitative leap in the logistics sector across the emirate.

The trial falls under the strategy of the Smart and Autonomous Systems Council (SASC) that, with ADIO’s support, aims to develop and adopt smart and integrated mobility solutions in the emirate of Abu Dhabi. Conducted with oversight from the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and the Integrated Transport Centre, the initiative is part of a wider strategy to enable smart mobility solutions through ADIO’s Smart and Autonomous Vehicles Industry (SAVI) cluster. The initiative supports Abu Dhabi’s efforts to localise production, develop future-ready infrastructure, and reinforce its position as a global hub for innovation and advanced industries.

**Omran Malek, Head of the SAVI Cluster at ADIO**, said: “ADIO is proud to champion the development and rollout of cutting-edge logistics technologies that strengthen Abu Dhabi’s position as a global innovation hub. This pilot is a powerful example of the kind of local partnerships and forward-thinking strategies that drive long-term economic and infrastructure value for the Emirate.”

The first test flight, conducted in Khalifa City, demonstrated the viability of autonomous aerial parcel delivery. A drone transported a simulated package from a local post office to a designated drop zone using a secure winch-based delivery system.

**Humaid Saber Al Hameli, Director of the Aviation Transport Division at the Integrated Transport Centre**, said: “Ensuring the safety and security of our airspace remains a top priority for the Integrated Transport Centre. We continue to advance the regulatory frameworks necessary to support the safe and effective integration of unmanned aerial systems into Abu Dhabi’s wider transport ecosystem.”
“This pilot trial reflects the strength of collaboration between the public and private sectors, and represents a concrete step toward the future of smart aerial mobility in the emirate. We are committed to providing a secure and adaptive regulatory environment that keeps pace with innovation and empowers the adoption of emerging technologies. The pilot marks the first phase in a broader strategy to deploy drone-based logistics services across Abu Dhabi. With progressive regulation and infrastructure readiness, the emirate is emerging as a leader in autonomous air mobility within the region.

وشهدت الجلسة التي نظّمتها المسرّعات المستقلة للتغير المناخي مشاركة خبراء من أمازون، وذراع الخدمات اللوجستية لسفن إكس، إي أم أكس، وشركة بي دبليو سي، حيث تم استعراض أبرز التوصيات التي شملها التقرير، بما في ذلك تخصيص مناطق شحن مخصصة للمركبات الكهربائية التجارية، وتوحيد المتطلبات التنظيمية على مستوى الدولة، واستكشاف حلول مستدامة لإعادة تدوير البطاريات، وتطبيق حوافز داعمة لعملية التحوّل الكهربائي. 

ويقدم التقرير، الذي حمل عنوان "تعزيز تبني المركبات الكهربائية التجارية الخفيفة في الإمارات"، مجموعة من التوصيات والمبادرات العملية التي تم تطويرها بالتعاون مع أكثر من 50 جهة من القطاعين العام والخاص. ويغطي التقرير سلسلة القيمة الكاملة لهذا القطاع، من البنية التحتية للشحن وإمدادات الطاقة، إلى الجوانب التمويلية والتنظيمية والتشغيلية. وتأتي هذه المبادرة في وقت تتزايد فيه أهمية المركبات الكهربائية كأداة استراتيجية للحد من الانبعاثات في قطاع النقل، الذي يُعدّ من بين أكثر القطاعات تأثيراً على البيئة في الدولة.

ويأتي هذا التقرير في إطار مبادرة مشتركة بين المسرّعات المستقلة لدولة الإمارات للتغير المناخي وأمازون وسفن إكس، لدعم تنفيذ سياسة المركبات الكهربائية الوطنية. وترتكز هذه السياسة على أهداف طموحة تشمل خفض استهلاك الطاقة في قطاع النقل بنسبة 20%، ورفع نسبة المركبات الكهربائية إلى 50% من إجمالي المركبات في الدولة بحلول عام 2050. ويُجسد المشروع نموذجًا عمليًا للتعاون بين القطاعين الحكومي والخاص في تسريع التحول نحو أنظمة نقل منخفضة الانبعاثات ومرتفعة الكفاءة.

UAE Independent Climate Change Accelerators (UICCA), in partnership with Amazon UAE and 7X, has published a collaborative report examining the adoption of electric light commercial vehicles (ELCVs) in the UAE. 

Based on broad consultation from key players across private and public sectors, the report was published during a UICCA-led panel session held at the Mobility Live Middle East conference in Dubai, which gathered sector experts from UICCA, Amazon UAE, 7X’s logistics arm EMX, and PwC to discuss the report’s key recommendations. The panel highlighted four priorities to transform commercial EV adoption in the UAE: creating dedicated charging zones for commercial EVs, coordinating regulatory requirements and processes across emirates, identifying circular solutions for vehicle battery recycling, and EV adoption considerations.

The findings are the outcome of a Policy Hack session hosted in May 2025 by UICCA, Amazon UAE, and 7X that brought together more than 50 experts from logistics companies, EV charger operators, fleet operators, UAE ministries, as well as energy and transport authorities to identify challenges and opportunities to electrifying delivery fleets.  

Her Highness Sheikha Shamma bint Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, President and CEO of UICCA, commented: “This report delivers a clear and actionable pathway to electrifying last-mile delivery in the UAE, a critical lever in the country’s wider decarbonisation agenda. Grounded in input from leading experts and industry stakeholders, it reflects our commitment at UICCA to advancing pragmatic, high-impact climate solutions. Accelerating the adoption of electric light commercial vehicles is not only a carbon reduction imperative; it is an opportunity to reshape urban mobility, stimulate green investment, and drive the evolution of a smarter, more resilient transport ecosystem. Now is the time to translate these insights into coordinated action and build the enabling environment needed for systems-level transformation.”

The report and Policy Hack event are part of a wider project led by UICCA, 7X, and Amazon UAE to accelerate the adoption of ELCVs in the UAE in alignment with the UAE’s National Electric Vehicles Policy. This Policy aims to reduce energy consumption in the transport sector by 20 per cent by 2050 through collaboration between federal, local and private sector partners. The UAE also aims to increase the share of electric vehicles to 50 per cent of total vehicles by 2050.
