أعلنت سفن إكس (7X)، المجموعة القابضة الاستثمارية في قطاعات التجارة والنقل والخدمات اللوجستية، عن اعتماد مجلس إدارتها قراراً بتعيين طارق أحمد الواحدي رئيساً تنفيذياً جديداً للمجموعة، وتأتي هذه الخطوة في إطار التغييرات التي تشهدها سفن إكس وشركاتها التابعة على مستوى العمليات التنظيمية والتشغيلية بهدف تعزيز مكانتها الرائدة على المستويين المحلي والدولي، وتسريع وتيرة النمو والابتكار في قطاعات التجارة والنقل والخدمات اللوجستية.
ويمتلك الواحدي خبرة تمتد لأكثر من عقدين في مجالات الخدمات اللوجستية، وحلول التوصيل السريع، والاستثمارات، والتكنولوجيا الزراعية والغذائية، ورأس المال الاستثماري. وشغل منصب المدير العام لشركة إي أم أكس، حيث قاد عمليات التوسع الاستراتيجي للشركة ورسّخ مكانتها كمزوّد رائد للحلول اللوجستية في المنطقة. كما تولى مناصب قيادية في قطاعات مختلفة، ونجح في تطوير استراتيجيات التحول، وقيادة عمليات الاندماج والاستحواذ، واستقطاب الاستثمارات الأجنبية المباشرة، مما يؤهله لتولي قيادة سفن إكس ودفعها نحو آفاق جديدة من النمو والتطور.

7X, the UAE-based investment and holding group in the trade, transport, and logistics sectors, announced the appointment of Tariq Ahmed Al Wahedi as its new Group CEO, following Board approval. The appointment comes as part of the Group’s evolution and ongoing organisational and operational transformation across 7X and its subsidiaries, designed to strengthen its local and global positioning while accelerating growth and innovation in the industry.
Al Wahedi brings over two decades of expertise spanning logistics, CEP solutions, investment, agri-food technologies, and venture capital. وتُعد منصة "وين"، من "سفن إكس" (7X)، المنصة الوحيدة في الدولة المصممة خصيصًا لتوفير الخدمات البريدية الرقمية ودعم التواصل الموثوق بين الجهات الحكومية والقطاع الخاص والأفراد من خلال تخصيص عنوان رقمي إماراتي دائم مرتبط بعناوينهم الفعلية، وموثَق بهويتهم الوطنية أو السجل الاقتصادي الوطني. وتضمن منصة "وين" تلقي الطرود والرسائل والمستندات والفواتير من المرسلين المعتمدين، مما يمنع التهديدات الإلكترونية، كما تتيح للمستخدمين إدارة فعّالة وآمنة للفواتير والمدفوعات، بالإضافة إلى ميزة الأرشيف الرقمي الآمن والمنظم وخيار مشاركة العناوين وتفضيلات التسليم وطرق الدفع لضمان دقة المعاملات.

Box service as part of ADX’s service offerings and engagement with its issuers and investors. 

Through “Wayn” platform, ADX and its listed companies and investors can benefit from the strengthened cybersecurity protection in facilitating document transfer and more efficient management of private and material correspondences. 

The ‘Wayn’ platform, launched by 7X, is the UAE's only dedicated digital P.O. Box platform, offering a seamless, secure, and innovative approach to postal services. Designed to support secure communication between government entities, private sector organisations, and individuals, ‘Wayn’ provides users with a permanent digital address directly linked to their verified national ID or National Economic Register (NER) data. ‘Wayn’ ensures the secure receipt of shipments, letters, documents, and eBills exclusively from official and verified senders, mitigating risks like phishing and cyber fraud. In addition, ‘Wayn’ offers safe and efficient management of invoices and payments, a secure and organised digital archive for critical documents, and the flexibility to share addresses, set delivery preferences, and choose payment methods.

7X, in collaboration with Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI), has issued a special commemorative stamp featuring the university’s motto of Power from Knowledge to Serve. The stamp commemorates MBZUAI's Knowledge Centre as a national symbol of the UAE’s ambitious developmental goals. It highlights the Centre’s role as a beacon for transformative research and a hub that attracts the world’s brightest minds in innovation and artificial intelligence.

وقّعت سفن إكس (7X)، الشركة القابضة الاستثمارية في قطاعات التجارة والنقل والخدمات اللوجستية، مذكر تفاهم مع شركة "إس سي فينتشرز" (SC Ventures)، ذراع «ستاندرد تشارترد» للابتكار والمشاريع والاستثمار في التقنيات المالية، خلال أسبوع أبوظبي المالي، وذلك بهدف تمكين الشركات الصغيرة والمتوسطة من خلال استكشاف فرص التعاون المشترك على مستوى الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا.

The MoU, signed during Abu Dhabi Finance Week, lays the groundwork for exploring collaborative opportunities in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), with a focus on empowering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). 

The partnership aims to combine the complementary strengths of both entities to power an innovation-driven, SME-focused venture in the Middle East and North Africa. This initiative seeks to address market pain points and unlock new growth opportunities. By focusing on extensive market insights and encouraging collaboration, the venture will deliver cutting-edge solutions tailored to the unique challenges faced by SMEs, such as access to funding, market entry barriers, and operational inefficiencies. Leveraging innovative business models, SME validation frameworks, and a strategic go-to-market approach, the initiative will develop and test a minimum viable product (MVP), designed to empower SMEs with scalable, technology-enabled solutions that foster sustainable growth and market resilience.

وشاركت سفن إكس (7X)، الراعي البلاتيني لمعرض لوجيموشن، في القمة العالمية للتجارة والبنية التحتية، وهي إحدى المؤتمرات الرئيسية ضمن فعاليات المعرض، والمعنية بتسليط الضوء على أبرز تحديات وتعقيدات التجارة العالمية والبنية التحتية. وتحدث عبدالله محمد الأشرم، الرئيس التنفيذي لسفن إكس (7X)، في كلمته الافتتاحية للقمة عن دور دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة في تشكيل مستقبل التجارة الدولية من خلال الاستثمار في البنية التحتية الحديثة وتوفير طرق تجارية سلسة وتعزيز سياسات التجارة المبتكرة والشراكات الدولية، مؤكداً على النموذج الاستثنائي الذي قدمته الدولة على مستوى العالم وساهم في ترسيخ مكانتها كمركز محوري للتجارة والخدمات اللوجستية.

وقال الأشرم: "تتبوأ دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة مكانةً رائدةً كمركز عالمي لتبادل المعارف في إطار جهودها لتعزيز قطاع التجارة، وتعد الفعاليات مثل لوجيموشن نتيجةً واضحةً لهذه الجهود، إذ توفّر منصةً لروّاد المجال، يتبادلون من خلالها الأفكار ويتشاركون الخبرات للخروج بالحلول المبتكرة والمتقدمة. كما تميّزت النسخة الأولى من لوجيموشن باستعراضها لأحدث الرؤى والتوجّهات، وإتاحة الفرصة أمام المشاركين لبحث سبل التعاون مع الشركاء المحليين والعالميين للتغلب على التحديات وتحويلها إلى فرص تساهم في إعادة تعريف مستقبل الخدمات اللوجستية والتجارة".

7X successfully showcased its expertise in trade, transportation, and logistics, while highlighting key trends shaping these key sectors at the inaugural edition of Logimotion, a brand-new premier logistics event. The global event provided a significant platform for 7X and its subsidiaries to feature their innovative solutions and services, including Wayn, UAE’s Digital P.O. Box, and Waslah, a leading logistics platform.

7X, a platinum sponsor of Logimotion, participated in the Global Trade and Infrastructure Summit (GTIS), a key conference held within the event focusing on the challenges and intricacies of global trade and infrastructure. In his opening speech at GTIS, **Abdulla Mohammed Alashram,** Group CEO of 7X, discussed the UAE's pivotal role in shaping the future of international trade by investing in modern infrastructure, providing seamless trade routes, as well as promoting innovative trade policies and international partnerships. ضمن الاحتفالات الوطنية لدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة بمناسبة عيد الاتحاد الـ53، أصدرت سفن إكس (7X) طابعاً تذكارياً احتفاءً بالمكتسبات والإنجازات التي حققتها الدولة.
وتألف الإصدار من طابعين تذكاريين بتصميم حمل صورة المغفور لهما الوالد المؤسس الشيخ زايد بن سلطان آل نهيان، والشيخ راشد بن سعيد آل مكتوم، طيّب الله ثراهما، تخليداً واحتفاءً بدورهما في إرساء دعائم دولة الاتحاد وجهودهما التي أفضت إلى إثبات مكانة الدولة كمركز عالمي في مختلف المجالات المحورية، وزرع القيم الأصيلة في نفوس أبنائها ليحققوا بفضلها الإنجازات والنجاحات ويمضوا بمستقبلها على طريق التقدم والازدهار.
ويأتي هذا الإصدار في إطار حملة "زايد وراشد" الوطنية الرامية إلى إضفاء طابع واحد ومميز على المبادرات المختلفة التي تطلقها الجهات الحكومية وشركات القطاع الخاص خلال شهر الاحتفالات الوطنية، والتي شكّلت انعكاساً لتوجُّه دولة الإمارات نحو ترسيخ ثقافة الانتماء والهوية الوطنية لدى أفراد المجتمع الإماراتي.

As part of the national celebrations marking the 53rd anniversary of the UAE’s Eid Al Etihad, 7X launched a set of commemorative stamps to honour the outstanding achievements of the nation.
Both commemorative stamps comprise a design that features the late founding fathers of the nation, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum. These stamps pay tribute to their pivotal role in laying the foundation of the Federation, recognising their efforts that positioned the country as a thriving global hub for various key sectors. These initiatives have instilled fundamental values among the nation’s citizens, enabling them to achieve outstanding feats and milestones that propel their future towards development and prosperity.
The issuance of these stamps comes as part of the national ‘Zayed and Rashid’ campaign, which aims to provide an integrated and unique essence to different initiatives launched by government organisations and private sector businesses during the month-long national celebrations. These efforts reflect the UAE’s commitment to fostering a culture of belonging and strengthening the national identity among the UAE community.
